PRIMER SPECIAL

Primer Special is a liquid primer based on polyurethane to improve the adhesion of the MS panel bonding large HPL on the Eternit Equitone Tectiva and Linea board.

Pre-treatment of the Eternit Tectiva and Linea facade panels is essential to achieve a durable adhesion on these facade plates.

Underground: • The substrate must be clean, solid, dry, dust and grease-free.Preparation: • Keep the packaging tightly closed until the moment of processing. • Do not process the primer directly from the packaging. • Pour as much primer into a clean paint roller tray as can be processed within 30 minutes. • Do not use leftover primer. • Close the packaging tightly immediately. • Avoid touching the cleaned and pre-painted surfaces, as this can adversely affect adhesion. Condensation can also adversely affect adhesion. • Do not apply the primer in very high humidity conditions, such as dense fog, and also not in case of precipitation/rain threat.Application: • The primer should be applied with a clean short-haired roller. • Apply primer to the bonding surfaces in such a way that the primer forms a closed layer or film. • The applied primer layer is visible. If this is bothersome, use masking tape to prevent the primer from getting on the visible side in addition to the bonding surfaces.
