- High Performance Fusion Tape is a silicone tape that meets the highest specifications and is widely used as insulation, sealing, and repair tape under changing conditions. High Performance Fusion Tape can be applied in poor conditions where preparation is difficult because it adheres to itself. High Performance Fusion Tape remains flexible and is resistant to: gasoline, oil, acids, solvents, salt water, road salt, and UV rays.
- High Performance Fusion Tape is excellent for: repairing leaking hoses, sealing pipes and fittings, insulating electrical wiring, corrosion protection, sealing connectors and fittings, protecting rigging and rope ends, marking lines and chains, anti-slip on handles and tools. By stretching the tape and wrapping it tightly (half overlapping) around itself, a virtually immediate permanent bond is created.
