PIPE FIX

Pipe Fix offers professional sealing of various screw threads. Pipe Fix seals and secures various screw threads permanently against the escape of liquid or gaseous media (such as gases, water, hydrocarbons, oil, liquid gas, and many other chemicals). Pipe Fix replaces hemp, PTFE tapes, and solid seals. The curing of Pipe Fix takes place by excluding oxygen from the air and the catalytic effect of the metal. Pipe Fix is a GREEN LINE product and is therefore completely label-free. Pipe Fix can be used in both gas lines and hydraulic lines.

The hardening of the product (polymerization) takes place under exclusion of oxygen from the air (anaerobic) and the catalytic action of the metal (metal contact). Seal pipe screw connections conical/cylindrical up to R3", for example spray systems and gas piping systems. Hardening also occurs at lower temperatures (<0°C). Can be removed with tools. Compared to conventional anaerobic adhesives, the GREEN LINE products are completely label-free, offering the user a significant added value. In addition, the label-free products have improved storage stability and increased temperature resistance up to +180°C.

Before use, read and follow the instructions on the label. The product is not suitable for metal-plastic flange connections, in spaces where gaseous oxygen is used, and for sealing against media with strong oxidizing acids. Only use on standard metal threads. The surface must be free of grease and completely clean. Use the degreaser product Pro Degreaser Spray (Article number: 2000) for this. Then fill the gap between the two parts completely with the product, then assemble the parts and close them completely. Insufficient sealing can lead to leakage after a certain time. Do not move after the curing process has started. Let the product cure completely for 24 hours before putting it into use. In mass production, secure or fix the connection with a water pump pliers to prevent the previous layer from breaking open during shaping or curing.
