PIPE FIX offers professional sealing of various threads. Pipe Fix seals and permanently secures various threads against the escape of liquid or gaseous media (such as gases, water, hydrocarbons, oil, liquid gas and many other chemicals). Pipe Fix replaces hemp, PTFE tapes and solid seals. The curing of Pipe Fix takes place with the exclusion of oxygen from the air and the catalytic effect of the metal. Pipe Fix is a GREEN LINE product and is therefore completely label-free. Pipe Fix may be used on both gas pipes and hydraulic pipes.
The hardening of the product (polymerization) takes place with the exclusion of oxygen from the air (anaerobic) and the catalytic action of the metal (metal contact). Seals pipe thread connections conically/cylindrically up to R3 ", e.g. sprinkler systems and gas piping systems. Curing also takes place at lower temperatures (<0 ° C). Can be removed with tools. Compared to conventional anaerobic adhesives, GREEN LINE products are complete label-free and offer the user one. In addition, the label-free products have an improved storage stability and an increased temperature resistance up to + 180°C.
Before use, read and follow the instructions on the label. The product is not suitable for metal-plastic flange connections, in rooms where gaseous oxygen is used and for sealing against media with strong oxidizing acids. Only use on standard metal threads. The surface must be grease-free and completely clean. Use the degreaser product Pro Degreaser Spray (Art. No. 2000) for this. Then completely fill the gap between the two parts with the product, then assemble and close the parts completely. Insufficient sealing can lead to leakage over time. Do not move after the curing process has started. Allow the product to cure completely for 24 hours before using the product. In series production, tighten or fix the joint with a pipe wrench to prevent the previous layer from breaking open during molding or curing.
