GLASS BODY PRIMER

Glass Body Primer is a black UV-resistant primer for repairing damage to the ceramic edge of windows or repairing damage to the flange to which the window sealant must adhere later. Also for both optical and protective applications in window bonding, where UV protection is desired.

Pre-treatment of glass surfaces without ceramic coating. Repair of damaged paint on metal surfaces. Applications are mainly glass surfaces (including PMMA and PC) in the: • Automotive industry • Bus industry • Shipbuilding industry • Railway industry

• The substrate must be clean, dry, dust and grease-free. • Keep the packaging closed until the moment of use. • Shake the bottle before use. • An opened bottle should not be reused. • Always use a clean (skin) brush, roller or felt applicator. • Glass body primer should be applied in one stroke. • Processing temperature between +5°C and +30°C. • Avoid use under very humid conditions and on cold substrates. • The primer should dry for at least 5 minutes and the adhesive should be applied within 24 hours. • Consumption: The consumption of the glass body primer is approximately 10 m2 per liter.
