POWER BOND

Power Bond is a two-component methacrylate adhesive, intended for very strong and structural bonds. Additionally, the product offers excellent chemical resistance for permanent connections, even in demanding environments. After complete curing, Power Bond has excellent impact, peel, and pressure resistance.

Power Bond is suitable for bonding a wide variety of composite materials, plastics, and metals, including steel and aluminum. These materials can be bonded without surface pretreatment.

The optimal processing temperature is between 18°C and 25°C. A higher or lower temperature will affect the processing time of the Power Bond. Ensure that before each use, the mixer to be used is correctly attached to the Power Bond and that the Power Bond is correctly placed in the processing gun. It must also be ensured that the surfaces to be bonded are not contaminated with oils, dust, paint, oxidation layers, and other impurities. Before starting the bonding process, a small amount of adhesive should be squeezed out to ensure that the two components are fully mixed, otherwise the adhesive properties will decrease. The subsequent joining of the materials to be bonded must take place within the processing time. After the processing time has elapsed, there should be no strong mechanical stress on the adhesive until it is fully cured, otherwise the adhesive properties will be compromised.
