2K Fast Fix is a thixotropic, odorless, black two-component adhesive based on polyurethane, which cures at room temperature for the structural bonding of many materials, such as thermoplastic materials, thermosetting plastics, steel, aluminum, cement, wood, and glass.Compatible mixing system: • Art. The strength and adhesion of a bonding depend on the correct treatment of the surfaces to be bonded, which must be cleaned with a suitable degreasing agent to remove any trace of dust, dirt, oil, or grease. Thermoplastic materials, such as PVC, polycarbonate, polypropylene, PMMA, etc., can be pretreated with a mixture of light esters or isopropanol. The use of solvents should be avoided, as they can damage the surface. Where possible, perform a mechanical sanding operation to remove paint residues (if present) from the surface to be bonded and to increase the strength and adhesion of the bonding. Allow the pretreated surfaces to dry before applying the adhesive.
