2K Fast Fix Speed is for the structural bonding of many materials, such as thermoplastic materials, thermosetting plastics, steel, aluminum, cement, wood, and glass.

The strength and adhesion of a bonding process depend on the proper treatment of the surfaces to be bonded, which should be cleaned with a suitable degreasing agent to remove any trace of dust, dirt, oil, or grease. Thermoplastic materials, such as PVC, polycarbonate, polypropylene, PMMA, etc., can be pre-treated with a number of degreasers. The use of solvents should be avoided, as they can damage the surface. The pretreatment of all other surfaces can be done with acetone or trichloroethylene. Never use gasoline or other solvents. Where possible, perform a mechanical sanding operation to remove paint residues (if present) from the surface to be bonded and to increase the strength and adhesion of the bond.
