Primer MSP is a transparent liquid primer agent for improving the adhesion to porous surfaces. Pre-treatment of mineral substrates. It is essential in order to obtain a durable adhesion.
Ideal for use for treatment of mineral-porous surfaces such as:
Surface: The surface must be clean, solid, dry, dust and grease free.
Preparation: Keep container tightly closed until the moment of processing. Do not process the Primer straight from the container. Pour as much Primer in a clean glass, can or paint roller tray, as you can handle within 30 Minutes. Remains Primer no longer use. Close the Primer container immediately after use. The best adhesion is obtained when the bonding or sealing will be achieved within 6 hours after drying of the primer. Therefore do not apply more primer than can be fully completed within 6 hours. Avoid contact with the cleaned and primed surfaces, since this adhesion may interfere. Condensation may also affect the adhesion. The primer should not be applied at very high humidity such as fog.
Application: The primer should be applied with a clean brush or a clean short-haired roller. Provide the adhesion surface primer such that the primer forms a continuous layer or film. (Although the primer is transparent and does not discolour, an applied primer layer may still be visible. If this is distracting, the application of masking tape is necessary to prevent that the primer except on the bonding surfaces also comes on the visible side) With highly porous surfaces, optionally a second treatment will be required, 60 to 90 minutes after the application of the first layer.
